'SALTED WITH FIRE'
The sermon “Salted With Fire” draws from Genesis 19:24–26, using Lot’s wife as a warning against looking back when God is calling His people forward. It reminds us that while Christ was concealed in the Old Testament, He is later revealed through the Holy Spirit, and that Jesus Christ is coming again. Just as in the days of Noah in Genesis, when the earth was filled with violence, today’s world reflects similar corruption. Though we shout “amen” to His return, many still live as if He is not coming. Leaving the world begins now, not just when we are taken up into Heaven, we must have change in our heart, as we examine whether we are truly bearing fruit or simply gaining knowledge without spiritual transformation.
We must confront the church’s complacency, warning that we have become more intellectual and less intimate with God. A pastor can preach the Word, but each believer must live it. There is coming judgment, to be salted with fire, yet God has made a way of escape through Christ. Rather than ignoring evil or remaining silent, we are called to boldly tell our families, friends, and communities that Jesus Christ is King and He is returning. If we truly believe judgment is near. we must ask ourselves... Why aren’t we urgently sharing Jesus with others, and living in a way that keeps both them and ourselves from being salted with fire?

Worship Song of the week
'POUR OUT OF MY LOVE'
“Pour Out Of My Love” by UPPERROOM is a worship song centered on wholehearted devotion to Jesus. Drawing inspiration from the woman who anointed Jesus with costly perfume in John 12, the lyrics express a desire to give Him EVERYTHING without restraint. The song highlights bold love, surrender, and adoration, offering worship not out of obligation, but from deep gratitude and awe for who He is.
Throughout the song, the posture is about humility and intimacy, emphasizing that Jesus is worthy of our most precious offering. It reflects a longing to hold nothing back, to pour out praise, time, and affection at His feet.
